To install CoPyCat for MacOS 8/9, follow these simple instructions:
Step 1. Install Acrobat Reader |
CoPyCat works in conjunction with Acrobat Reader
freely available from Adobe.
To use CoPyCat, you must have Version 3 or later of Acrobat Reader installed on your
computer. If you do not have Acrobat Reader installed, you can install it by clicking on the link below:
The Acrobat Reader plug-in, PDFViewer, is distributed
in the Web Browser Plug-in folder of Acrobat Reader. If
your web browser does not yet have the
Acrobat Reader plug-in installed, copy the Acrobat Reader plug-in to
the Plug-ins folder of your web browser.
Step 2. Download CoPyCat for MacOS 8/9. |
The latest version of CoPyCat for MacOS 8/9, V1.0e, was released on 7/25/02.
The size of the
download is approximately 159K bytes. To download CoPyCat for MacOS 8/9, click the
link below:
Step 3. Install CoPyCat into your web browser. |
- Close all of your web browser windows.
- Expand the file you downloaded (CoPyCat-10e-mac.sit.bin) using
StuffIt Expander
or a similar program. The
expansion should result in a file called CoPyCatTM.
- Move (or copy) the file CoPyCatTM to
the Plug-ins folder of
your web browser. (This should be the same folder in which
the Acrobat PDFViewer plug-in is installed.)
- Restart your web browser.
That's it. The CoPyCat plug-in should now be installed.
If you are running Netscape, you can check
that the plugins are installed correctly using Netscape's "Help/About Plug-Ins" command. This should
display a page with entries for both the CoPyCat and the
Acrobat Reader
plug-ins.
